NORWICH – Norwich hosted the Sabers of Susquehanna Valley on Tuesday, August 29 on the front nine at their home course of Canasawacta Country Club.
Norwich’s Alex Gage continues to be a staple on the leaderboard match after match. Gage led the field of medalists with a match-low of 38, just two strokes over par for the nine holes. However, Norwich couldn’t hold Susquehanna Valley losing 237 to 225.
All five of the Sabers top golfers posted scores in the 40’s, making is difficult for Norwich to overcome.
Norwich’s golfers had a good day as team despite the loss. A.J. Little recored a 47 on the day with teammate Kia Sheer scoring a 50 and Connor Nial and Max Marson finished with 51’s to round out the Purple Tornado top-five.
