Lady Bobcats fall to Caz in opening bout of 2017

CAZENOVIA – The Lakers of Cazenovia invited the Bainbridge-Guilford Lady Bobcats to their own court, only to swiftly hand B-G a hefty 0-3 loss on the road, August 30.

“We lost 0-3. Cazenovia is a great team,” said Bainbridge-Guilford head coach Tami Selfridge. “Great experience for us, but always tough to lose.”

The first set saw the Lakers edge out the lady Bobcats by a score of 25-22. The B-G ladies then slipped to a 25-14 loss in the second set – all before recovering for a respectable 25-22 loss in the third set.

Best in the lost for Bainbridge-Guilford was; Abigail Selfridge at 1 ace, 10 kills, 8 assists, Erica Selfridge at 8 kills, 11 assists, Makenzie Drown at 2 aces, 3 kills, 3 blocks, and Zamira Caldwell at 1 ace, 2 kills, 1 assist, 9 digs.
