NORWICH – For the 2017 Employee of the Year, Norwich City School District has recognized not one person, but the entire high school kitchen staff for the example they set for their students.

"We choose to honor the entire kitchen staff because of their dedication," said Norwich High School Interim Principal Kisten Giglio. "They put effort in whenever there is need. It's a great staff that works well together."

In addition to their regular kitchen duties – like coming in an hour early every day to ensure breakfast is ready for the students – the staff also goes above and beyond to raise money for local causes.
