Lady Warriors take down Norwich on senior night, 4-1

NORWICH — Chenango Valley put loads of pressure on Norwich’s goalkeeper, Saige Benedict, the entire game as CV’s girls soccer squad would go on to win 4-1 over the Lady Tornado on senior night.

Only three minutes into the game, the Lady Warriors tacked on their first goal of the evening as Alaina Carmen blasted one past a diving Benedict.

At the 17:19 mark of the first half, Chenango Valley’s Sara Marinaro added to the total, making the score 2-0. That’s the way the teams went into half time.

Norwich caught a little wind in their sails as Hannah Klockowski found the lower right corner of the net on an assist from Sydney Coggins with four minutes gone by in the second half.
