S-E Field Hockey fails to keep up with high-flying NY Mills
SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville’s field hockey program hit a snag in their game plan when NY Mills came to town, ripping the lady Marauders for a 5-0 win.
Rachael Beaulieu of NY Mills snagged a hat-trick in the big win – while Alyssa Fuccillo secured brace on the day with two goals and two assists – Angela Chen had two other assists.
“It was a very fast-paced game,” said Sherburne-Earlville head coach Christina Layman.
Both goalkeeper – S-E’s Jade Diamond and NY Mill’s Bri Paylon – each recorded six saves for their respective teams.
Next up for Sherburne-Earlville field hockey (2-4 overall, 0-2 league), they will be playing at Sauquoit Valley on Thursday, September 21, at 7 p.m.
