Lady Bobcats record fifth win of season, topping Walton 3-0

BAINBRIDGE — Bainbridge-Guilford fired 16 shots at Waltons goalie, putting three in the back of the net to get the W for the fifth time this season.
In the first half, the bobcat scored two goals to give themselves the early lead.
Bainbridge-Guilford’s defense really put the clamps on the Warriors, only allowing six shot attempts and no corners in the contest.
“We have a great defense,” said Bobcats Head Coach Jennifer Henderson. “They are like the unsung heroes of our team this season.”
B-G keeper Megan Palmatier recorded every save on the six shots taken by the Warriors of Walton.
Liz Dumond, Matrica Harmond and Dina Cordes all netted goals for the Lady Bobcats.
B-G looks to add to their win column at 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon as they take on a tough Sidney Warriors team in a league match-up.
