Bobcat Seniors give show on their night, winning 7-1 over Trojans
BAINBRIDGE – Lady Bobcats gave a great performance for the last regular season game at home, netting seven goals total and taking the win over the visiting Greene Trojans.
Bainbridge-Guilford opened up the first-half with four goals and holding the Trojans to nothing.
In the second half, Greene did sneak one past as Lucinda Lee’s ball found Ashley Kenyon’s foot to grab the first and only goal of the night for their team.
The Bobcats added another three goals to their first half tally, ending the night with seven.
B-G Senior Jill Cannistra recorded a hat trick while teammates Kate Porter, Alli Miller, Dina Cordesa and Matraca Harmon each scored one goal. Miller and Cordes also had two assists each, while Harmon and Molly O’Hara also assisted on one goal each.
The Bobcats are back in action again Tuesday as they visit Oxford for a match up under the lights. The game will be at 6:30 p.m. for Oxford’s senior night recognition.
