Oxford Lions Club awards Jeanie Peterson Citizen of the Year
OXFORD – The “We serve” motto of the Oxford Lions Club is well founded, but recently the club chose to honor a member of the community for her selfless service to others.
On September 26 at the Lions’ meeting at Hoppie's, Jeanie Petersen was proudly presented the Lions Club’s 2017 Citizen of the Year award.
From the American Legion Auxiliary, Oxford Historical Society, Chenango County Habitat for Humanity, PON, and much, much more, Jeanie gives so much of herself and her time to make other people’s lives better and happier.
