OXFORD – As the season draws to a close, each win means that much more looking ahead toward the postseason – but perhaps no win means more to a graduating senior than their senior night.

Oxford volleyball celebrated their three graduating seniors Krysten Vigus, Jourdan Pinney, and Kaitlin Mulwane before the match.

Those three Blackhawk seniors, and the entire Oxford squad took down the visiting Spartans of Unatego at 3-1 on Wednesday, October 11.

With ease, Unatego truly jumped to a 1-0 lead in the contest – outscoring Oxford at 25-8.

The next two sets proved to be much more difficult for the road squad, who found some difficulties in putting away their the fired-up home team.

The second set, Oxford reversed the roles, ripping the lead from the Spartans hands for a 25-16 Oxford victory.
