“All the kids raced hard all weekend, some came up short of making to their mains (main event). Very impressive for such young team. We still have a lot of racing to go. Our district points go until December 15,” said All American BMX head coach Dave Lawson. “Next year we hope to get more teammates to the finals. Between Rob Baker (Bullthistle Mountain Biking co-head coach) and the All American BMX organization, we are trying hard to give the community the sport of cycling in different ways. But the goal is the same, getting our youth back on bikes. As Rob puts it ‘cycling is a lifetime sport.’”
The All American BMX team also raced on Friday night, October 6, at Grippen Park BMX.

“We are working on fundraising for the future track construction, as well as funds for team equipment needs. We are planning to be in the Halloween parade on October 28, to show support for a great annual event in the community,” said head coach Dave Lawson. “It also gives the team some bonding time away from the track.”
