GREENE – Led behind Kira Bush’s six kills, the Trojans, took down Harpursville-Afton in three straight sets.

The Hornets didn’t get over the 12 point mark in any of the three sets as they scored 12 twice and nine in the final set.

Despite the loss, Harpursville-Afton did have three athletes that showed outstanding play. Stephanie Allen led her team with one ace, three kills and two assists while her teammates Alissa McCrimman added three kills and Raelyn Amrein finished the night with one ace, one kill and one assist.

Val Straquadanio added five aces and Cheyenna Rich had one kill as they aided in the Lady Trojans win Monday night.
