NORWICH – The largest Parade of Lights in the history of the event lit the streets of Norwich on Saturday, officially ushering in the holiday season in Chenango County.

81 floats participated in the 23rd annual parade over the weekend and were judged in three categories: Fire departments, adult division floats, and children division floats. The results are listed as follows:

Fire departments: South New Berlin Fire Dept., first place; Coventry Fire Dept., second place; Norwich Fire Truck #233/Ontario Hose Company, third place; Unadilla Fire Dept., fourth place.
