Northeast Classic Car Museum to open on New Year’s Day

NORWICH – In ushering in what’s sure to be a big year at the Northeast Classic Car Museum, for the first time, the museum will open its doors on New Year’s Day.

From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on January 1, 2018, the Northeast Classic Car Museum will be open as a way to bring in a new year that will feature big happenings––including the 2018 Hemmings Motor News Great Race making a stop at the museum in June.

On Sunday, June 24, 2018, the Great Race will stop at the museum in Norwich for lunch as riders in vintage cars make their way to Halifax, Nova Scotia from Buffalo, NY. About 300 riders in 149 cars – years 1972 and older – competed in last year’s Great Race from Jacksonville, Fl. to Traverse City, MI.

Admission at the Northeast Classic Car Museum is $10 for adults and $5 for students aged six to 18. Children and museum members are admitted for free.
