Local pro-life activists seek interested people to attend March for Life
NORWICH – The Knights of Columbus Council 211 is once again gearing up for its annual bus trip to the March for Life in Washington, D.C. this week, and organizers are seeking people who are interested in their cause to come along.
This Thursday, local pro-life activists depart from St. Bartholomew's Church at 11 p.m. for the 2018 March for Life.
They will be joined by Reverend Father Thomas Ward, formerly of St. Joseph's Church in Oxford, Rocco Fortunato and members of Spread the Blaze & Crusaders of Mary Immaculate who will provide live worship music on the bus, and others for the trip down to the March for Life.
"There have been a lot of positive changes in the pro-life movement since President Trump took over," said trip organizer Jim Reynolds. "It's awesome, you have to be there to witness it."
Ticket prices are: $100 for families of three or more, $50 for adults, $40 for seniors, and $25 for students. Be sure to reserve your seat in advance, as Reynolds notes that seats will be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Reynolds said they will return to Norwich after the March for Life on Friday evening.
