Chenango Area Music Teachers to present annual Winter Music Festival

NORWICH – On Saturday, January 27, at 4:00 p.m., the Association of Chenango Area Music Teachers (ACAMT) will be presenting its annual Winter Music Festival hosted by the Music Department of Norwich City Schools.

Participating school districts this year include Afton, Bainbridge-Guilford, Greene, Harpursville, Norwich, Otselic Valley, Oxford, Sherburne-Earlville, Sidney and Unadilla Valley.

The program will feature over 200 students performing with the Elementary Band (guest conductor, Matt Acenowr, of East Syracuse-Minoa HS), SSAA Chorus (guest conductor, Kristina Ruffo, of Maine-Endwell HS), Jazz Band (guest conductor, Tim Iverson of Cooperstown HS) and TTBB Chorus (guest conductor, Michael Lurenz and The Southerntiersmen).

The concert is open to the public and will take place in the Jack Jones Gymnasium at Norwich High School. Tickets are four dollars for adults, three dollars for seniors/students and will be available for purchase at the door.
