Crouch to hold town hall meeting at Greene high school

GREENE – Assemblyman Clifford Crouch will be holding a town hall meeting in the Greene high school auditorium on Tuesday, June 26 at 5:30 p.m.

Sponsored by Greene Central School District and its Board of Education, the town hall meeting will act as an opportunity for board and community members to meet with Crouch, who is running for re-election this November.

Greene BOE Jason Burghardt said topics of particular interest at the town hall will be district strategies for complying with unfunded mandates, declining population, state regulations, curriculum demands, among other topics.

“The Board of Education is hoping to open a dialogue with Assemblyman Crouch to better serve our school district and community, and we hope the meeting will be beneficial to Assemblyman Crouch in his efforts to serve his constituents,” said Burghardt.

The town hall is free to attend and its end time is to be determined. Residents of surrounding communities are welcome to attend. Greene Central School District is located at 40 South Calan Street in Greene.
