Norwich schools to offer free summer meals for local youth

NORWICH – In participating in the national Summer Food Service Program, Norwich City School District will offer free breakfast and lunch meals to all children aged 18 and under from July 9 to August 9, 2018.

The meals will be offered at Perry Browne Intermediate School, located at 31 Beebe Avenue, during two time slots: breakfast from 7:50 a.m. to 9 a.m., and lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The USDA and its programs prohibit discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity conducted or funded by the USDA.

Individuals with disabilities requiring alternative means of communication for program information should contact the agency where they apply for benefits for assistance.

Individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing can contact the USDA through the Federal Relay Services at (800) 877-8339. Program information can be obtained in languages other than English as well.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the form found at www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html or in any USDA office. You may also write a letter addressed to the USDA.
