Gus Macker deadline extended to Sunday
NORWICH – The Norwich Gus Macker, which benefits the Norwich YMCA, has once again achieved the largest Gus Macker tournament in New York State as the estimated amount of players currently is at 1,200.
The Macker Committee, however, wants more of players to bring out their game and has decided to allow some of those waiting until to get a team together.
The deadline has been now been extended to Sunday July 1. “With the tournament taking place on July 14 and 15, we have the ability to extend the deadline until this time,” said a member of the Macker Committee.
