CHENANGO COUNTY – The Chenango County Board of Elections will hold a drawing deciding positions on the ballot in the September primary election for McDonough Town Clerk and two Republican committee seats for two different towns at 9 a.m. Thursday.

The drawing will decide positions on the ballot for Republican candidates for McDonough Town Clerk between incumbent Pamela Streichert, who was appointed in 2017, and candidate Shirley Cook.

The drawing will also decide positions on the ballot for three candidates seeking two seats on the Republican Committee for Preston, and three candidates seeking two seats on the Republican Committee for Guilford.

For Preston, candidates include Linda McNerney and George Seneck, who are both incumbents, and candidate Gilda Ward.
