NORWICH – Employment Solutions staffing services has opened a branch in Norwich in an effort to better connect job candidates with employers in the area.

Located on the second floor of the Eaton Center in Norwich, Employment Solutions strives to match job candidates with employers in an effort to make the hiring process easier and more effective for all parties involved.

"It gives the employer the opportunity to see if it's a right fit with the candidate, and it gives the employee the opportunity to do the same thing: see if it's the right fit," said Cole Covington, Norwich District Manager at Employment Solutions.

Covington said aspiring employees can contact Employment Solutions via the phone, its website, or by dropping in the Eaton Center to describe their skill-set, interests, and work history.

From there, the job candidate is entered into Employment Solutions' database, connecting employers across the state to the interested candidates.

"Basically what we do is try to match an employee's skills with what an employer is looking for," said Covington. "So if an employer calls and says, 'I need someone with this skill-set to start in two weeks,' then we can search through our database and say, 'Okay, I've got someone that's a match.'"
