NORWICH – This year marks Norwich's 45th annual fall festival, and this years event will feature seven bands who will compete against Norwich's marching band team in the New York State Field Band Conference.

According to Norwich High School Marching Band Director Megan Carpenter, the event will open at 4:30 p.m., and begin at 5:30 p.m. on October 20, at the Norwich High School Stadium.

Carpenter said the school marching bands that will attend the event are Norwich, Marcus Whitman, Auburn, Westmoreland, Union Endicott, Cicero-North Syracuse, and Baldwinsville. She added tickets for the competition may be purchased ahead of time for $7 or paid at the gate for $9.
