CHENANGO COUNTY – The Lt. Warren E. Eaton DSC Unit 189 American Legion welcomed its Empire Girls State delegates at its September meeting to discuss their experiences at the weeklong excursion.

Norwich High School senior Katie Doliver and Greene High School senior Mallory Fowler attended the American Legion Auxiliary Empire Girls State at SUNY Brockport this summer, participating in citizenship and leadership training.

When selecting its delegates, the American Legion Auxiliary looks for students exhibiting high academic standing, outstanding character, and leadership qualities.
