Cuomo: limo crash shows need for tougher enforcement rules

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo says he wants to give authorities greater power to seize the license plates of unsafe or unauthorized vehicles following an upstate limousine crash that killed 20 people.


The Democrat told reporters Wednesday that he will push to change the law to give the Department of Transportation and Department of Motor Vehicles greater legal authority to take action quickly.
