NORWICH – Three individuals were arrested Thursday after allegedly burglarizing homes in the Town of Pharsalia, trying to flee police in a vehicle while throwing the stolen items out of their windows before being captured.
According to Chenango County Sheriff Ernest Cutting, on Thursday, January 17, members of the Norwich City Police Department were involved in a vehicle pursuit which led into the Town of Norwich.
Dakota J. Davenport, 24, Macey M. Newkirk, 26, and Zane Marvin, 36, was charged with third-degree burglary and reckless endangerment. Davenport was also charged with additional vehicle and traffic law violations.
“Members of the Sheriff’s Office and NY State Police attempted to stop the 1998 Subaru Legacy being operated by Dakota J. Davenport after his speed was verified at 101 mph on County Road 32,” said Cutting. “It is alleged, Davenport and front seat passenger Zane A.
