NORWICH – A major business is scheduled to close in the Town of Norwich next month, as Save-A-Lot officials confirmed this week the store will be closing down in February.

An employee of Norwich’s Save-A-Lot said the store will close on February 1, and a sign placed on the front of the building reads, “Store Closing: We would like to thank all of our loyal customers for their patronage over the years and regret to inform you that we will be closing on February 1, 2019.”

When asked about why the store was closing, the Save-A-Lot employee said they weren’t able to discuss it due to corporate policies.
