Annual Valentine's Pairings at Oxford Winter Farmers' Market Saturday

OXFORD — The perfect antidote to cabin fever? A morning of great locally-produced food, toe-tapping live music, and the chance to catch up with friends and neighbors at the Oxford Winter Farmers’ Market, this Saturday, February 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Parish House Community Center of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Main Street in Oxford.


With Valentine’s Day just weeks away, the Market’s annual Sweet and Savory Valentine Pairings event will give customers the chance to sample all sorts of delectable vendor offerings paired by Sandy Stacey of Black Bear Winery with their wide selection of locally-made berry wines, meads and ciders.

The popular local bluegrass band, Hot Wings and Cold Feet, will be with us throughout the day. They specialize in great harmonies with a traditional bluegrass sound, bringing a touch of progressiveness and a reverence for gospel and songs of earth to the genre.
