Man arrested after showing illegally owned gun to neighbor during dispute

COVENTRY – The New York State Police arrested a state parolee Friday after he allegedly displayed an illegally owned firearm at a neighbor during a dispute.


According to police on March 15 at approximately 4:43 p.m., New York State Police Officers stationed at Greene responded to a reported dispute at a residence in the Town of Coventry.


Troopers would eventually arrest Bradly M. Falkenmeyer, 27, of Coventry for 2nd-degree menacing and 4th-degree criminal possession of a weapon.


Troopers reported an investigation into the dispute revealed an dispute between neighbors, the complainant, and Falkenmeyer that began over a dog going onto the other's property.
