Greene CSD Superintendent search down to two candidates

GREENE – The Greene Central School District’s search for a new superintendent is down to the final two candidates: Greene Middle School principal Timothy Calice and Tina Lane, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction of the Oneida City School District.
The candidates will spend a day next week touring the school facilities, meeting staff and students, and answer questions from the community during public forum.
Calice, who has nine years in school administration, will have his interview day on Tuesday, April 9, with a public forum being held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the GCS auditorium.
Lane, who lives in Pulaski and has eleven years of school administrative experience, will interview the following day and her public forum will be 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., also in the auditorium.
Included in each candidate’s interview day will be a tour of The Raymond Corp. and dinner at Baron’s Inn with the school’s Board of Education.
The search for current Superintendent Gordon Daniels began in October 2018 with DCMO BOCES Superintendent Perry Dewey heading up the search. Greene Board of Education selected Calice and Lane as finalists after a rigorous screening and interview process.
