The Northeast Classic Car Museum hosts die-cast car and collectables event this weekend

NORWICH – The Northeast Classic Car Museum is hosting the second annual Spring Melt Die Cast show and sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.


The non-profit organization partnered with a fellow museum across the street, Wheels in Time at 27 Rexford Street in Norwich, to make the hobbyist event possible.


The Wheels in Time museum describes itself as the “biggest little die-cast car and truck museum.” The museum features a wide collection of more than 5,000 cars, with a mix of Hot Wheels and Matchbox collectable vehicles on display.

This weekend at the at the classic car museum, “You will see die cast cars, trains, slot cars, coins, collectibles and antiques at the show. A little something for everyone in the family. In addition to the show, you get to tour over 200 cars, trucks and motorcycles on display in the museum with the vintage clothing, gas pumps and airplane engines,” said Heather Calkins, Northeast Classic Car Marketing Coordinator.
