$200k will be awarded in Central New York this year

NORWICH – Chobani announced Thursday it will double the amount of funds donated in its Community Impact Fund in an effort to further promote economic opportunity and entrepreneurship in Central New York and the Magic Valley in Idaho.

In expanding its Community Impact Fund, Chobani will contribute $200,000 this year in Central New York. Grant applications from residents of Delaware, Chenango, Madison and Otsego counties will be accepted throguh June 2019, and will be awarded later this year.

“At Chobani, we do more than make yogurt,” said Chobani in a statement. “Each and every day, we try to make a difference. By increasing the size of the fund and allowing multi-year grants, we’re unlocking the potential for organizations to build bigger and bolder initiatives that can drive meaningful, lasting change for communities across Central New York.”
