NBT announces new vice president

NORWICH – NBT Bank Executive Vice President and President of Retail Community Banking Joseph Stagliano announced the promotion of Systems Development Manager Michael Longo to Vice President.

Longo joined NBT Bank in 2012. After successfully completing NBT's Management Development Program, he became a member of the Systems Development team and advanced to his current role as Systems Development Department Manager in 2017.

Today, he is responsible for overseeing digital and analytics strategy along with a team of employees who implement technology to enhance the employee and customer experience.

Longo, a resident of Norwich, earned his master’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University and his bachelor’s degree in Economic Analysis and Mathematics from Binghamton University. Active in his community, he is the director of Marching Percussion for Norwich High School.
