Firefighters save two trapped in crushed car

GREENE – Two injured individuals were saved by local firefighters after they were in a motor vehicle accident that trapped them within a crushed car.


On June 13th at approximately 1:19 p.m. the Greene Fire Department was dispatched to County Road 32 in Greene for a single car motor vehicle accident with entrapment.


According to the Greene Fire Department, two chiefs arrived on the scene shortly after the call, and confirmed there were 2 patients with injuries and were still entrapped.


Greene Fire Department officials said Brisben NY Fire Department provided mutual aid and companies worked hard to extricate the patients while stabilizing the vehicle.
