NORWICH – NBT Bank President and Chief Executive Officer John H. Watt, Jr. awarded scholarships totaling $10,000 to six participants in NBT’s Summer Employment Program on July 24, 2019.

The scholarships were presented at the bank’s annual Student Career Day held at NBT headquarters in Norwich.

Eligibility for the scholarship awards is based on several factors, including job performance and completion of at least one year of summer employment with NBT Bank.

Recipients this year were Rose Warner (Lawton, PA), who was awarded $2,500; and Emilee Barrett (Clarks Summit, PA), Christopher Brown (Norwich, NY), Christopher Jeffrey (Norwich, NY), Madison Kerr (Norwich, NY) and Alexis Llewellyn (Norwich, NY) who were each awarded $1,500.
