Curtis Lumber opening soon at two new locations in Richmondville and Sidney
SIDNEY – Curtis Lumber has aquired two new stores in Central New York locations near the I-88 corridor.
Curtis Lumber announced the acquisition of two additional store locations, one at 101 Main Street in Sidney and the other at 1181 State Rt. 7 in Richmondville.
These locations have served as lumber yard and home improvement stores in the past and will be updated to carry Curtis Lumber’s premium products, superior hardware assortment, and be staffed with the expertise to cater to both builders and homeowners.
Curtis Lumber has long served the areas with delivery service from nearby stores and this will increase delivery and product availability to areas that are poised for growth.
“Working with builders and homeowners along the Interstate 88 corridor, we recognized the need for additional store locations to serve them,” stated Jay Curtis, president and CEO. “Our superior product assortment, award-winning delivery service, and extensive employee training program will make these locations stand out in their respective communities.”
Planning is well underway for opening the sites under the Curtis Lumber name with store hours yet to be determined. Combined, the locations will employ more than 15 people. Those jobs will be posted closer to the stores’ opening dates at www.curtislumbercareers.com.
