Melanie and The Boys to Perform at the Oxford Farmers’ Market

OXFORD — The popular local band, Melanie and The Boys, will perform at the Oxford Farmers’ Market this Saturday, September 14, 10 a.m. to noon. This talented group plays a unique mix of music that is best described as Americana.


Band members Melanie Rees (mandolin), Eric Rees (guitar), Joel Huizinga (guitar), Jaime Bates (bass) and Jon Larchevque (banjo) performs songs from the greatest American musical traditions including bluegrass, blues, rock and folk. They bring energy, enthusiasm and a playful sense of fun that is undeniably infectious.

On the park, over 20 outstanding vendors will be offering a wide variety of fresh seasonal produce, home-made breads and baked goods; local yogurt, cheeses, and butters; eggs, chicken, beef (including certified organic and grass-fed ground beef) and lamb; jams, fudge, honey and maple products.
