GUILFORD – Representatives of the Guilford Elementary School said a fire within the school was extinguished without injury to students or staff.

According to fire officials, a call was received at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Monday with reports that there was a fire at 138 School Street inside the elementary school in Guilford.
