SHERBURNE - A 14-year-old Sherburne youth was airlifted to Upstate Medical Hospital in Syracuse earlier this week, following an ATV accident that left the youth in critical condition.

According to New York State Police Troop C Public Information Officer Aga Dembinska, a 911 call was received at 1:35 p.m., on October 13, with reports that the youth located at Granville Hill Hardscrabble Road in Sherburne, was unconscious and trapped under an ATV.

“Troopers arrived on scene and rolled the ATV off of her,” said Dembinska. “She was then transported to the Sherburne high school via ambulance where emergency responders airlifted her to the Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.”
