Family Enrichment Network celebrates renovated offices

NORWICH – Chenango County Family Enrichment Network celebrated newly renovated offices and classrooms with a ceremonial ribbon cutting on Thursday.
The ribbon cutting was performed by Family Enrichment Network Executive Director, Darrell Newvine.
The organization moved into the offices at 21 South Broad Street, Norwich, in 2012. The renovation enables all the programs for Chenango County to be under one roof. The newly renovated site was completely gutted and redesigned to allow for two preschool classrooms, evaluation rooms, a physical therapy room, kitchen, bathrooms, and office space for all the programs and staff of the Family Enrichment Network.
The organization offers child care resource and referral services, support and training for child care providers, assistance in opening a new child care program, and data on child care in Chenango County. The organization also operates preschool special education services in Chenango County. The service offers evaluations and related services for preschool children with developmental delays. The organization was able to offer a Preschool Integrated Classroom program at the DCMO BOCES campus in Norwich.
