NORWICH – Thursday afternoon a Pick-up truck traveling south on State Highway 12 turned in front of a northbound van causing the vehicles to collide in a 55 mile-per-hour zone, reported the Chenango County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's office and Norwich Emergency Fire and Ambulance responded to the scene which blocked traffic along the major roadway for about half a hour at about 12:35 p.m. No injuries were reported.

The van heading north, driven by Meagan Smith of Oxford, stuck the truck in rear side after the truck driver, Roger Barrows of Oxford, attempted to make a left turn in front of Smith's vehicle.
