NORWICH – The Chenango United Way closed the gap on needed 2019 funding, by raising $70,000 in just three days.
This means the group made their goal of $425,000 for the year, a $6,000 increase from what the United Way raised in 2018. The funds provide funding to 27 non-profits and organizations in Chenango County.
“This has been one of our hardest campaigns, and it was a really different campaign then previous years because the funding didn't come in until really late,” said Executive Director Elizabeth Monaco.
