GREENE – The New York State Police announced the name of the woman who died in a car accident in Greene on Monday, and said the cause of the accident is still under investigation.

According to New York State Troop C Public Information Officer Aga Dembinska, at approximately 9:42 a.m. on Monday troopers were dispatched to State Route 12 in Greene after a 911 caller reported an accident.
