ONEONTA – The Norwich wrestling team made it a quick dual meet in the Yellowjackets’ hive when they defeated Oneonta Wednesday night 66-6.

Quinten Bissell-Smith of Oneonta captured the team’s only points of the night with a forfeit at 195 pounds.

Norwich’s Max Morris and Mikey Squires each won their respective weight classes due to a Yellowjackets’ forfeit and there were no matches at 220, 106 and 138 pounds.

The rest of the bouts in the meet were won by Purple Tornado wrestlers by way of pinfall.

Needing just 17 seconds on the clock, Andrew Brown of Norwich pinned Oneonta’s Andrew Lentner for the early win at 120 pounds.
