New candy shop coming to Norwich
Minty’s Candies and Treats will be opening February 1 and located at 33 South Broad Street in Norwich
NORWICH – A new candy shop is coming to Norwich just in time for Valentine's Day.
Located at 33 South Broad Street, Minty's Candies and Treats will have it's grand opening February 1 and will be open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. The shop is being opened by local couple Mindy and Tracy Chawgo and will feature retro candies, chocolate pizzas, and a bulk candy section.
“It's been my husband’s dream to open up a business. We wanted something people can go to where they can gather, have some candy, and make childhood memories like we used to,” said Co-Owner Mindy Chawgo.
The shop will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
