S-E girls’ basketball picks up 6th win of season
Cole drops 30 to pace Marauders
CANASTOTA – The Lady Marauders captured the 61-28 league win Tuesday against host Canastota with a big first quarter scoring run.
Sherburne-Earlville outscored the Red Raiders 22-8 in the opening eight minutes of play behind nine points from both Tessa Cole and Elizabeth Peila. Cole went on to finish with 30 points in the contest, a game high and just six points shy of her season scoring average (24 points-per-game).
Canastota tallied eight points before the halftime break, scoring two more than the S-E Marauders in the stanza.
