CHENANGO COUNTY – Effective Immediately due to the Chenango County State of Emergency, the Chenango County Treasurers and Delinquent Tax office will be closed to the public until further notice.
Over the counter payments will not be accepted during this period. All payments must be made by mail. Please submit an accepted form of payment (Money Order, Cashier’s or Certified Check)
Make checks payable to: Chenango County Treasurer, 5 Court Street Norwich, NY 13815.
No personal checks or cash will be accepted!
Regarding parcels subject to tax foreclosure:
The final date for redemption has been changed from March 31, 2020 to April 30, 2020 without exception. All delinquent taxes must be paid by this date.
Please call 607-337-1493 for information on delinquent tax amounts due.
