Oxford Library: An update on submitting book requests

OXFORD – The Oxford Memorial Library is thrilled to be able to fill your requests for library materials but if you are searching for titles on the online card catalog do not use the e-mail me option using the ox.ill@4cls.org address.

When sending requests to this e-mail you need to use your own personal e-mail and be sure to include your name and phone number. You may also call us at 843-6146.

Many of the libraries are not yet doing the “curb-side” pickup so if we do not own the book or item you wish to borrow we can reserve it for you but there will may be a longer waiting period for the item.

In the meantime we are all working together with the Four County Library System to make this process as seamless and painless as possible. We have never had to deal with a pandemic like this before and it is a learning experience.

We are trusting that Four County will be able to allow patrons to place items on hold on the on-line card catalog in the very near future.

We thank all of you for your patience and understanding and look forward to opening our doors in the near future.

Please feel free to call us at 843-6146 for more information or requesting items.
