Guilford man charged with stealing zero turn lawn mower

CHENANGO COUNTY – Three individuals were indicted on felony crimes earlier this week including two for theft related charges and an individual who failed to register as a sex offender.


Thomas Toomer II was indicted on third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class D felony, and fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony.


According to Toomer’s indictment, on May 7 while in the Town of Guilford, Toomer possessed a 2016 Cub Cadet 52” Zero Turn lawn mower, a 1998 Ford Mustang, a Yamaha Timberwolf ATV, a kayak, a mini-chopper motorcycle, a Craftsman car jack, a trampoline, along with several other times.


The indictment states that the combined value of the stolen property is over $3,000.
