This year’s Trick or Treat times are as follows:
Village of Afton: Oct. 31, 5 to 7 p.m.
Village of Bainbridge: Oct. 31, 5 to 7 p.m.
Village of Greene: Oct. 31, 5 to 8 p.m.
Village of New Berlin: Oct. 31, 4:30 to 7 p.m.
Village of Oxford: Oct. 31, 5 to 7 p.m.
Village of Sherburne: No set time.
City of Norwich: Oct. 31, 5:30 to 8 p.m.
COVID-19 safety measure should be observed. Please consult your local village for more information and any additional restrictions.
Some general advice this Halloween from the CDC:
Avoid direct contact with trick-or-treaters.
If possible, give treats outdoors
If possible, set-up a station with individually bagged treats for kids to take.
Turn your house lights on if you want to give out treats.
Large groups of kids are discouraged.
Small groups of kids are to consist of family members.
Wash hands before handling treats.
Wear a cloth mask not a costume masks.
Visit homes in your neighborhood.
Trick or treating this year will be very different from last year. The CDC recommends that cloth masks and not just halloween masks be worn when asking for treats.
