Man who stole from Lowes still at large

NORWICH – The New York State Police are seeking assistance from the community after a man stole thousands of dollars worth of tools from the Lowes in Norwich.

According to New York State Police Troop C Public Information Officer Aga Dembinska, as of Wednesday morning no arrests have been made in this case, and the individual is still at large.
“New York State Police at Norwich are looking to identify the pictured subject,” said Dembinska. “He’s accused of stealing over $6,400 worth of power tools and accessories from the Lowes in Norwich.”

Dembinska said the theft occurred just before 7 p.m. on March 11. She said in the photo the suspect appears to be a white male with dark hair and was wearing a black sweatshirt and black hat.

“He’s about 30-40 years of age and appeared to have left the area in a silver Jeep Compass,” she said. “If you have any information, contact NYSP Sidney at (607)561-7400.”
