Bobcats sweep Oxford volleyball
BAINBRIDGE – Bainbridge-Guilford's volleyball team stopped Oxford's recent momentum taking all three sets in a 25-12, 25-14, 25-9 victory on Friday night.
B-G's Makenna Clark had a monster night leading at the net and at the service line.
Clark finished with a team-high 15 kills, and also served up nine aces. Teammate Sasha Lamoree charted 19 assists - most going to Clark - and added four aces.
Madalyn Barrows finished with four kills for Oxford (4-2), and Olivia Kelsey totaled eight digs.
The Bainbridge- Guilford Bobcats hosted the Oxford Blackhawks.

Bobcats' first-half offense enough to hold off Greene
GREENE - Bainbridge-Guilford's girls scored three first-half goals, and that was enough to hold off host Greene in a 3-2 victory on Saturday afternoon.
Johnna Henderson had a pair of goals for B-G, and Kate Roefs added a third to give their club a 3-1 halftime advantage.
Henderson netted the first of two tallies scoring off a deflection, and then on a header that put her club up 2-1.
Greene's opening goal came at the 4:48 mark of the first half, when, Jenna Alloin, connected on a shot from outside the 18-yard box that found the right side of the netting.
The Trojans closed to within one early in the second half as Cali Knapp used a fine individual effort beating two B-G defenders to score at the 37:48 mark.
